“Who is God?” That may be the most profound and important question you could ever ask. The answer to that question will impact both your life and your Eternity. God placed in you a desire to know and love HIm. It was Saint Augustine who said, “Our hearts are restless until they find Rest in Him.”
Until you have a clear understand of who God is, you’ll never understand who you are.
Sadly, God is often misrepresented. He is often depicted as a distant, cold-hearted judge wanting only to punish. On the other extreme, He is often described as a benevolent-but-weak Being who allows the evil in the World. These views, and many others, are dangerously inaccurate.
The Bible teaches us The Truth. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, full of love, full of Justice, full of Grace, full of mercy. He made everything including you, He loves you and He has extraordinary plans for you life. I pray that these Truths from His Word (The Bible) will remind you of who He is and what He thinks about you.
Here are a few of the many Bible Verses that give us a clear picture of who God is…

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29
